Steel Beasts

Steel Beasts 1 is a  PC-based simulation of modern mechanized warfare, centred around  the US’s M1A1 Abrams and Germany’s Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks. Players can experience the sights and sounds of modern armoured combat from the gunner’s or tank commander’s position, as well as the challenges of tactical planning and decision making from a powerful map view. 

Steel Beasts 2 is the sequel to the best Simulation of year 2000. It has a new custom rendering engine tailored to the rigors of visualizing modern tank combat and taking advantage of 3D hardware acceleration. It will provide numerous improvements over it's predecessor. A release date is yet to be announced.

Steel Beasts Professional is designed for professional military training. It models the gunner’s and commander’s position of various armoured fighting vehicles in a virtual 3D environment, allowing both networked and individual training of single-vehicle, platoon, and reinforced company scenarios.

There are two variants of the professional version of Steel Beasts; "Steel Beasts Professional" and "SB Pro Personal Edition".  Steel Beasts Professional is designed to be used in a simulation lab, under the direction of an instructor, whereas SB Pro Personal Edition is used for exercises, by individual soldiers on their  notebooks or home PCs.
